Portrait of Alice Findley Brown in her 70s

Alice's mother was a descendent of Pasquel LaRue Finley, who brought his multi—racial family to Niles around 1850. Alice eventually took role as the Finley family historian and helped uncover more of the family's history. She also played an important role in establishing the first Finley family reunion.

Alice Findley Brown died in 1988 and is buried at Silverbrook Cemetery.
